This program is planned as a structured pitch competition where students will present innovative ideas addressing real-world problems. The event will be conducted in multiple stages, including registration and idea submission, a screening round, mentorship sessions, and a final pitch presentation before a panel of judges. The objective of this initiative is to foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the college and to provide students with a platform to enhance their problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills. We believe this event will significantly contribute to the overall academic and professional development of students.
Brief Program Structure Event Title: IGNITE: The Startup & Innovation Pitch Arena 1. Participation: - Open to students from all departments - Individual or team participation (1–4 members) 2. Program Flow: - Registration & Idea Submission: Teams submit basic details and a short description of their idea - Screening Round: Shortlisting of ideas based on innovation and feasibility - Mentorship Session: Guidance on refining ideas, business models, and presentation skills - Final Pitch Round: Selected teams present their ideas before a panel of judges 3. Pitch Format: - Each team will get 5 minutes to present their idea - Followed by 3 minutes of questions and answers by judges 4. Judging Criteria: - Innovation and Creativity - Problem-Solution Relevance - Feasibility and Practicality - Market Potential / Impact - Presentation Skills 5.
